Equipment Return Policy

Last Updated: December 28, 2025

The Mountain Born service model relies on specialized equipment (glass bottles and dispensers) that are procured on your behalf. This policy outlines your responsibilities regarding this equipment.

1. Service Deposits

The Service Deposit you pay upon signup is used to secure the equipment we procure for you. This deposit is fully refundable, subject to the return of equipment in good condition.

2. Return Requirements

End of Service: Upon termination of your Mountain Born service, you must return all bottles and equipment in good, usable condition.

10-Day Window: Equipment must be returned within ten (10) business days of account closure.

3. Damage and Non-Return Fees

To maintain the quality and safety of our service, we must enforce fees for equipment that is not returned or is returned in an unusable state.

  • If equipment is not returned within 10 business days, a replacement fee will be charged.
  • If equipment is returned shattered or significantly damaged, a replacement fee will be charged.
  • Mountain Born will deduct the full replacement cost of unreturned or broken equipment directly from your Service Deposit.

4. Fragility Disclaimer

As per our Terms of Service, glass is an inherently fragile material. You assume all risks associated with the possession and use of glass bottles while they are in your care.
